This book is designed for undergraduate medical student in Obstetrics and gynecology. This book contains three sections. The first section is OSCE. October 1994 saw the introduction of the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) as a means of assessment. To start interview the patient during the clinical sessions, the student should have a strong knowledge back ground before they can take history and performed clinical examination. For each patient’s one or two chief complains should be outline. All history questions are then carried out to favors or exclude one of the differential diagnoses. This will allow tailed or narrow the differential diagnosis. The problem then would be identified and confirmed by physical examination and investigation. This much in favors on the new teaching methods, that it is been introduced as problem based learning (PBL) in most medical institutes internationally. The treatment of each scenario case in the OSCEs in this book is been out lined in brief. The second section are short notes questions, aimed to provide knowledge that it is relevant to medical student during their course and rotation in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The third section is multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which was designed to provide knowledge and not meant to test them. I think this book will help medical student to have quick review and build up on the information they get during attending their lectures, tutorials, clinical sessions and after reading the text book; that why we called it a ‘’SURVIVAL GUIDE’’.
