Book Condition: Used — Like New
Jesus, me & ADHD: Part 4 by Mary Likens-Chung
Can I tell you a secret? I really do not enjoy writing these book descriptions. It almost keeps me from publishing every time. Usually, I just power through it and end up with something mildly acceptable and fairly generic. What am I supposed to say? It's a book. It's about Jesus, and me. It's written in the same way I think and go through life. I'm quite convinced I have ADHD. If not, then something that looks and acts just like it. The ADHD isn't the point of the books. Jesus is, and the way He cares for and helps me with all my issues, no matter what we decide to call them. Then why mention ADHD at all? Because it, or whatever configuration my brain has that causes me to think and do things differently, is sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse, and always a factor in everything I experience. It's not the entirety of who I am, but it is part of my framework. And I think it was supposed to be that way. The parts about it that make life more challenging to navigate give me opportunities to lean on Him more, and the parts that make certain tasks easier for me than for others I want Him to use fully. That's what I hope to convey as I share my story - past present, and future - with you.
