Deborah Jones Smith, known to millions as Southern Momma, grew up on a Georgia farm facing poverty, abandonment, molestation, physical abuse, and responsibilities far beyond her age. Long before her viral videos and television appearances, she learned how to survive through determination, faith, and humor. As an adult, Deborah opened her home to children who needed safety and love. She and her husband cared for 43 foster children and built their family through adoption.
